Filming and photography - Day 2 in Yangon, Myanmar

Today Barry Smith gave his 'Training the trainer' presentation and workshop.

The majority of participants were clinicians who had travelled for 12 hours by bus from Mandalay, many of them having just finished shifts before getting on the bus. The skills room was searingly hot, the heat tempered only by the presence of retro electric fans positioned all around the room.

Later, we shot some interviews for our film. Barry presented well and gave a good insight into his experience here over five visits. Two nurse participants also very kindly agreed to be interviewed, with the help of Thinn and Maggs.

A nice surprise was being treated to lunch with the Rector, which timed very well with the arrival of Ian Hallsall and Allan Morrison (Pathology).
